Little Viking Childcare is run by a small group of dedicated women who represent a wide array of experience and talents
Christy is the owner and director of Little Viking Childcare. She has a Master of Science degree in Mutidisciplinary Human Services and spent nearly 15 years woking in children's behavioral health. She is the current treasurer and genealogist for the Reynoldsville Historical Society and is on the board of directors for the Reynoldsville Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. In previous years she has served as a Daisy, Brownie, Junior and Cadette Girl Scout Leader, PTA volunteer for CG Johnson Elementary and DuBois Area Middle School, and Family Readiness Group Coordinator for HHC 501st Signal Battalion, FT Campbell KY and C.Co 17th Signal Battalion, Kitzingen Germany.
Michaela is the Group Supervisor for Little Viking Childcare and the teacher for our School-Age program. She is a senior in college and has avid interests in Art, Music and World Cultures. She is a board member of the Reynoldsville Historical Society, has volunteered at Christ the King Manor, and has participated in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to end Alzheimers.
Casey is our pre-school teacher. She is currently pursuing her Child Development Associate credential with plans to continue on to her degree in early childhood education. Casey is constantly pursuing training options to add her her classroom management and creativity skills. She is the mother of three of the children in our care. She is also a successful entrepreneur creating Casey's Carnitas, the best tacos in the area.
Katie is the Assistant Group Supervisor in the Infant/Toddler room. She is the mother of one and soon to be two children and often volunteers at Wasson Elementary School in DuBois for her daughter's events. Katie is nearly finished with her CDA Credentialing and is talented at managing our tiniest of students
Margaret is the mother of two of our children an amazing teacher to the toddler group. She is always seeking out new materials and topics that she can use with our one and two year olds. Margaret will be pursuing her CDA credentials this fall as part of the Apprenticeship program through Edinboro University.
